FLEA MARKET RULES
All vendors must register with the Committee prior to the opening of the flea market.
No vendor may change his/her assigned space without the knowledge and consent of the Committee.
The official opening hour is 11 AM. You may begin setting up your space as early 8 AM. Please be considerate of your neighbors who may be enjoying a restful Sunday morning. If you are setting up well before the start time, make sure that you are able to keep an eye on your merchandise.
Vendors who have not reserved a table through the PWV Committee will furnish and be responsible for their own display tables, areas, etc., which must fit within their designated spaces. A simple ground cover may be used instead of a table. Vendors are responsible for cleanup and disposal of waste after the market closes. (Waste cans will be available.)
The Market Manager only will mediate, if necessary, between vendor & customer, vendor and vendor, vendor and any market participant or security staff member.
THERE WILL BE NO SELLING ON THE VAUX PREMISES, EXCEPT WITHIN THE DESIGNATED, FENCED AREAS IN THE REAR OF THE BUILDING.
NO FIREARMS, KNIVES (except table flatware), OR ANY ARTICLE CLASSIFIED AS A WEAPON MAY BE OFFERED FOR SALE IN THE MARKET.
NO MATERIAL THAT MIGHT BE CLASSIFIED AS PORNOGRAPHIC, OR ANY ITEMS OR MATERIALS THAT WOULD BE UNSUITABLE FOR CHILDREN, MAY BE SOLD OR DISPLAYED.
NO FOOD PRODUCTS MAY BE OFFERED FOR SALE IN THE MARKET.
NO RADIOS, STEREOS, DISC PLAYERS OR OTHER ELECTRONIC MUSIC WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE MARKET AREA, EXCEPT THOSE OFFERED FOR SALE. (Vendors may play briefly for demonstration purposes only.)
NO PUBLIC SPEECHES, ADVOCACY ACTIVITIES, HANDBILL OR FLYER CIRCULATION, OR OTHER ACTIVITIES UNRELATED TO THE MARKET WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE AREA.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT IN THE SELLING AREA.
NO PETS (unless carried or on a very short lead) WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE SELLING AREA.
NO SMOKING OR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE SELLING AREA.
BICYCLE RIDING, ROLLER BLADING, SKATING, OR SKATE BOARDING WILL NOT BE PERMITTED IN THE SELLING AREA.
NO SELLING OF COMMERCIAL MERCHANDISE, OR OFFERING OF COMMERCIAL SERVICES WILL BE PERMITTED.
